Care has been taken to reduce the carbon footprint, by utilising sustainable sources – Ground, Air & Biomass systems.
What the Client Said…
We employed Garry Fawcett & Son to carry out a significant renovation of our large grade II listed property in the Ribble Valley.
This has involved a huge variety of work where sympathetic conservation & renovation has been required, as well as modernisation using the very latest technological solutions.
The latter, amongst other things has included – air & ground source heat pumps & the latest Lutron lighting & music systems.
The structural work has encompassed the construction of a new cottage, the provision of a swimming pool & full leisure facilities, a full barn extension, as well as the top to bottom refurbishment of the main house.
In that time Garry & his team have worked with traditional materials including stone, lime mortar, oak cladding, green oak construction, stone roofing, shale roofing, steel construction, oak windows, aluminium glazing, specialist stone masonry & this has been complimented by extensive landscaping including driveways & walling surrounding the property.
All in all this has taken five years start to finish.
When asked about the quality of the work I ask myself a few key questions:
Are we happy with the final result?
A resounding yes.
Did we receive a high quality level of workmanship & service?
Definitely yes.
Did we receive value for money?
You get what you pay for.
Would I use Garry again?
We have already used him extensively for another project & will continue to do so in the future.

I work best with positive people & Garry definitely has two sides.
His first side is that he is very likeable & always has a positive mental attitude & a smile on his face & nothing is too much trouble for both him & his team.
His second side is equally important in that he is also very serious about the quality of his workmanship, will not cut corners & it is a combination of these two sides that makes working with Garry an absolute pleasure.
